It was founded in 2017 after separating from its parent company Siemens, which was initially created in 1847, merging with "Veifa-Werke" in 1932 to form Siemens-Reiniger-Werke (SRW), later renamed "Siemens Healthcare", which developed innovative products at the time such as the rotating anode tubes used in X-rays.
