Daimler Truck Holding AG, dedicated to the transportation industry, especially to the manufacture of commercial vehicles, trucks and buses, has approximately 100,000 employees in 40 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia.
The company develops and manufactures buses and trucks, marketed under the Mercedes-Benz, BharatBenz, Western Star, FUSO, Freightliner, Thomas Built Buses, RIZON and Setra brands, and offers financial services to its customers.
It was founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of Daimler AG, being spun off in 2021, although at the operational level it has been active for a long time, as part of the activities of its parent company, creating the world's first bus in 1895 the Landauer of Carl Benz, in 1896 they introduce to the market the first motorized truck and the "Lieferungswagen" a delivery truck.
