Description of the company

Fugro N.V., is a Dutch multinational company engaged in providing geotechnical, geo-scientific and surveying services.

It was founded in 1962 by Kornelis Joustra, called Ingenieursbureau voor Funderingstechniek en Grondmechanica, in English "Engineering company for foundation technology and soil mechanics", dedicating itself mainly to soil analysis, and then expanding into marine operations, oil extraction and advanced subsea probes, buying in 2023 two platform supply vessels, with the purpose of using them in their studies, in addition to opening a new operations center in Canada.
