Description of the company

Alfen N.V., is an international company that offers energy services through the creation and marketing of smart grids, storage systems and charging stations.

Starting its activities in the Netherlands in 1937 as a switching company and is when they open the factory of high and low voltage devices, obtaining its first lost power transformer station in 1965, running and delivering various centers of that style for several years, until in 2003 they introduce in their operations the manufacture of compact stations, changing its name to Alfen in 2007, also that same year they create a subsidiary in Belgium and start the production of Sicuro.

From 2008 they are dedicated to the energy recharge of electric vehicles, in 2011 they acquire EXENDIS, expanding to United Kingdom, Germany and France in 2014 and six years later they manage to reach Poland, Italy and Spain.

It currently has offices in the Netherlands, France, UK, Finland and Belgium.

It is organized into three business lines:

Smart Grid Solutions where the company designs and builds local power grids, as well as infrastructure for renewable energy solutions, solar farms, greenhouse horticulture and complex energy management systems.
