IMCD N.V., is a group made up of several companies dedicated to eight industry sectors, focused on the production, storage and distribution of a variety of products, which joined together with the purpose of simplifying marketing operations.

It was created in 1995 under the direction of Piet Van Der Slikke as a department in Internatio-Müller to operate in the distribution of specialty chemicals becoming an independent company in 2004, extending its activities to Latin America and Africa in 2013, reaching Canada and the United States from 2018 achieving to have technical centers of high quality advice and formulation.

From 2021 they increase their growth in the personal care, home care and water treatment sector, so they made several acquisitions in Central America, Peru, Colombia and the Caribbean, continuing their success the following year, in addition to launching the Industrial Solutions group where they offer applications to chemical intermediates, materials, environmental and processing technologies, operating today in more than 60 countries and having more than four thousand employees.

Their technical centers are focused on creating more than 48,000 products in diverse areas such as Beauty and Personal Care, Coatings and Construction, Food and Nutrition, Home Care and I&I, Industrial Solutions, Pharmaceuticals, Lubricants and Energy.
