Davide Campari-Milano N.V. is a company engaged in the production, marketing and distribution of beverages, divided into three segments: wines, distilled or alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages.
It is considered the sixth largest company worldwide in its field, with absolute leadership in Italy and Brazil, besides having an important presence in Argentina, Continental Europe, the United States, Mexico, reaching a total of 190 countries, with its almost 50 acquired brands which are supported by 23 manufacturing plants and about 4,700 employees.
It was founded in 1860 by creating the "red aperitif", inaugurating in 1904 its first plant in Sesto San Giovanni, opening in 1915 the "Camparino" bar in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II located in the center of Milan, starting its acquisition strategy in 1995 which has been maintained to date, obtaining a wide variety of companies and brands, entering the Italian stock exchange in 2001.
