Pernod Ricard S.A. is a worldwide conglomerate specializing in the manufacture and marketing of alcoholic beverages.
It was created after the merger of two strong alcoholic beverage producing companies becoming Pernod Ricard, S.A., in 1975, continuing with a series of total or partial acquisitions such as Irish Distillers, Orlando Wyndham, Seagram wines and beverages, Chivas Regal, Allied Domecq, the V&S Group, creating in 2010 the Premium Wine Brands company being renamed in 2014 as Pernod Ricard Winemakers.
