TotalEnergies S.E., a French group engaged in the energy and petrochemical industry, is present worldwide in more than 130 countries, with headquarters in France and more than 100,000 employees.

It was created in 1924 as a mixed company, with the participation of the French state and a private part, being called "Compagnie française des pétroles" (CFP) changing its name to Total S.A. in 1991, eight years later it merged with Petrofina, and in 2000 with Elf Aquitaine, following a series of acquisitions that allowed it to diversify its functions, finally adopting the name TotalEnergies.

The group is a leader in the industry, being considered the fourth largest in the world, with a network of 17 thousand service stations, approximately half of which are owned by the group, reaching a production of more than two thousand barrels per day distributed among Africa, Asia, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe and the Middle East.

Its activities include oil exploration, refining, production and distribution, creation, distribution and commercialization of gasoline, creation of sustainable energy solutions, taking advantage of renewable resources, as well as worldwide distribution of gas, fertilizers and chemical products such as chlorine, lubricants and plastics, opening up to the heating, transportation and lithium battery manufacturing markets.
