Cofinimmo S.A., a company dedicated to the real estate industry, owns more than 2 million square meters of surface area from various buildings offered for rent, has a portfolio valued at 6 billion euros, and has operations in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Ireland, Spain and Germany.

It was founded in 1983 making its first real estate investment in 2005, in Belgium in the healthcare sector, partnering with AB InBev Group two years later, in 2008 they opened a subsidiary in France and in 2012 they entered the Netherlands market also in the healthcare real estate sector.

In 2013 they initiate activities to transform some of their office properties for residential use, entering Germany the following year, achieving in 2016 in the Netherlands to make real estate investments in the health care area, expanding their portfolio in Brussels by acquiring five more buildings, by 2017 they get 17 residences for elderly care in Germany, positioning themselves in Spain a few months later.

Its activities are mainly focused on investing in healthcare properties, including medical office buildings, clinics, nursing homes, among others, maintaining in its strategic objectives the intention of providing care environments to improve the quality of life of its users.
