Description of the company

D'Ieteren Group S.A., dedicated to the automotive industry, specializes in the repair and replacement of vehicle glass, automotive distribution and spare parts, was founded in Belgium, but has operations in France, the Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain.

The origins of the company date back to 1805 when Jean-Joseph D'Ieteren became a master coachbuilder, 52 years later Alexandre D'Ieteren included the manufacture of wheels, the internal equipment of the vehicle and painting to the activities of the company, around 1931 they became distributors of some American brands.

Over time they continued to include services, adding packaging plants and spare parts, obtaining in 1948 an import contract with the Volkswagen brand, launching in 1956 the car rental service "Dit'Rent-a-Car", which is sold several years later, in 2021 they split the business into two subsidiaries D'Ieteren Group and D'Ieteren Automotive.

The group is comprised of five main companies:

  • Belrón, a specialist in vehicle glass fitting, markets brands such as Safelite®, Carglass® and Autoglass®.
  • D'Ieteren Automotriz, in charge of distributing the Volkswagen, Lamborghini, Audi, Porsche, Bugatti, Škoda, Microlino, Bentley and Rimac brands.
  • D'Ieteren Immo is the company in charge of the real estate sector, responsible for managing the group's assets, including offices, dealerships, parking lots, logistics centers, workshops and housing.
  • Moleskine, a stationery company, writing and reading accessories, online publications, among others.
  • Parts holding Europe. PHE, distributes automotive spare parts.
  • TVH, distributes spare parts for large mobile, agricultural and industrial construction equipment.
