Information about Intel Corporation
Intel Corporation is the largest company in the world dedicated to the manufacture of microchips or integrated circuits, being responsible for creating the processors of most of the existing personal computers.
It was founded in 1968 by Gordon Moore and Robert Noyce, starting with the name "NM electronics" and later changed to "Integrated Electronics" and simplified to Intel.
Their beginnings were modest, until they bought "Busicom", a Japanese company that had the rights to the technology that would empower them as an organization in the immediate future, which is how they have been developing, creating more products to provide intelligence and speed to computer equipment.
In 2005 they agreed with Apple to create the processors for several of their computers, which continued to make agreements that firmly established them worldwide, such as the purchase of McAfee, a company that creates software for computer security, owner of its best-known application, the antivirus McAfee VirusScan.
Its headquarters are located in Santa Clara, California, United States, extending to several states in the country, hiring more than 45,000 employees, but thanks to its partnerships and subsidiaries has been able to position itself in much of the world, building facilities in Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, Russia, China, Israel, Philippines, Asia, India and Malaysia, with an estimated 130,000 people on the payroll.
