American Airlines, Inc. (AAL),is a company dedicated to air transportation, operating scheduled flights on both domestic and international routes in any of the countries where it has operations.
Its beginnings date back to 1930 under the name American Airways, which had activities in 72 cities in the United States, bought in 1934 by Errett Lobban Cord, changing its name to American Air Lines, in 1970 incorporated its intercontinental flights that included routes from St. Louis, Chicago and New York to Honolulu, with destination also to Sydney, in 1982 incorporated into its routes to London and in 1990 managed to expand throughout Latin America.
