Eurofins Scientific S.E., is a group of laboratories dedicated to perform various tests and services to various industries, mainly pharmaceutical, environmental, food, agricultural sciences, government and consumer products, offering more than 200 thousand types of analysis including clinical diagnostics, in vitro diagnostics, purity, identity and authenticity of biological substances, among others, has about 900 offices, located in 61 countries with headquarters in Luxembourg.

Founded in 1987, in its first ten years it developed and registered the SNIF-NMR patent. In 1997 it began to implement the strategy of purchasing state-of-the-art laboratories with scientific experience and growth potential, expanding initially to eight countries, and in 2001 began to diversify its activities to include genetic markers to verify that the products studied are free of BSE, reaching more than 60 acquisitions.

As a result, it has managed to expand to other countries and continents, such as Canada, the United States, Japan, Taiwan, almost the entire European continent, Asia and America, reaching annual revenues of more than 6.7 million euros, with more than 62,000 employees.
