Information about Ebusco Holding
Ebusco Holding N.V. is a Dutch company dedicated to the design, manufacture and commercialization of electric buses for regional and urban use, in addition to the services associated with its products. Among the first differentiating characteristics in its market are the capacity to transport from 95 to 105 passengers in units that can travel from 300km to 700km without making noise or generating toxic emissions to the environment.
It is established in 2012 as Ebusco BV starting with the development of its first prototype, a 12-meter long-range bus, being the first company to receive the European approval allowing it to develop electric buses, presenting its second vehicle three years later, being in 2016 when they win the ECW Ecology Award at Busworld.
In 2018 they sign a zero emissions agreement, launching in 2020 the Ebusco 3.0 a light body bus, delivering soon after 156 units for regional and urban use to Transdey, contributing to a cleaner and greener urban transport, managing to place more than 300 buses in seven countries in Europe, including Amsterdam, Munich and Frankfurt.
The prototypes they have marketed are named Ebusco followed by a chronological numerology, the Ebusco 2.2 can travel up to 450 kilometers in autonomy with the capacity to transport 90 passengers, the 3.0 covers a target of 700 kilometers and is designed with a 27% reduction in its original weight.
In addition, the company offers an electrification package, ESS energy storage systems and a platform where any of the brand's operational buses can be tracked in real time, showing efficiency, location and battery autonomy, data that is used to improve driver and user training and equipment maintenance.
