Abertis Infraestructuras, is a corporation dedicated to the design and construction of high-capacity roads and intelligent mobility solutions, in various parts of the world.

It was created in Spain in 1967 as ACESA (Autopistas, Concesionaria Española, S.A.) carrying out in 1969 the Montgat-Mataró road, the first toll road known as A-19, following with the execution of others, throughout the country.

In 2002 it merged with Áurea, becoming effective in 2003, thus forming the company Abertis Infraestructuras, becoming the most important company in the transport and communications infrastructure sector in Spain, seeking, with this action, to compete at continental level, reaching the third place in Europe.

Along with the execution of roads, the company owned a division dedicated to telecommunications called ACESA Telecom, separating from Abertis in 2015 and renaming itself Cellnex Telecom.

Its headquarters are divided between the social activity located in Madrid and the operational one located in Barcelona, through its subsidiaries it has managed almost 600 km of tracks in Spain, approximately 235 km in Italy, more than 1000 km in France, just over 150 km in India, 12 km in the United States, more than 1000 km in the Western Road Network in Mexico, 88 km in Puerto Rico, 3200 km in Brazil, almost 120 km in Argentina and just over 400 km in Chile.
